This next painting is another one I did over a year ago. Again, I did this one just because the first one was so much fun. Just a collection of doodles I did just to pass the time. This one though, I wanted to do something a little more fun, so when I did it, I was constantly spinning the canvas. Now, whenever you look at it, you can spin it in any direction and there will be something to look at. I also tried to throw a little perspective in - in places just to make it look more fun.
I'm always intrigued by the topic of sanity, I don't want to turn into some pretentious hipster and start talking about bullshit like "I wanted to capture the blah blah blah", but yes there are some doodles that are dedicated to the insane mind and religion and astrology and some vague literary things and such, but I won't get into it. If you care enough about those things, you'll be able to spot my shotty attempts when you look through the collage. Also, I tend to draw mushrooms a lot when I'm doing stuff like this, not for any particular reason, I just like to draw mushrooms. There's something fun about them.
As usual, the majority of it is black paint marker on plain canvas, but every now and then I slapped on some water colour and acryllic paint.
and as usual, I don't know what else to say about this piece, so I'll leave now and let you check it out. ...whoever you are. I have one more of these types of paintings that I'll post soon. so, peace out for now!!
